Common Problems
- Error: You are self-found and cannot trade
- Error: You are self-found and cannot send mail
- Error: You are self-found and cannot use the auction house
- Error: That action is currently restricted
- Error: Couldn’t create an application for the posting
If your hardcore character is self-found, which limits many activities, this limitation can be turned off in-game by talking to the Apprentice Watcher.
If you encounter these restrictions on mail, the auction house, trading, or applying to guilds/communities on any other WoW characters, you must first pay for game time or a subscription and allow 26 days to pass before you will be able use the restricted features. You can confirm your order date in your Transaction History. Game Time from WoW Tokens does not count to lift this restriction.
