Reporting Code of Conduct Violation
Blizzard's Code of Conduct is designed to foster a fun and safe environment for all of our players. Reporting players who violate the Code of Conduct helps the entire Blizzard community.
Select your product below and follow the steps to report a player.
World of Warcraft®
To report a player in World of Warcraft:
- Select the player's character and right-click the target character portrait or right-click the player's name in chat
- Click Report Player
- Select the most appropriate option
- Click Report
StarCraft® II
To report a player in StarCraft II:
- Right-click the player's portrait or name.
- Click More..., then Report Player.
- Select the appropriate option.
- Enter a description of the situation.
- Click Send Report.
To report a player while you're in a match:
- Press Esc to open the Main Menu.
- Click Message Log.
- Right-click the player's name and select Report Player, or click the Report Player button at the bottom of the Message Log.
Reporting Custom Maps
To report maps in the StarCraft II Arcade:
- Right-click the map and select Report.
- Select the appropriate option.
- Enter a description of the map's content.
- Click Send Report.
Diablo® III
To report a player in Diablo III:
- Right-click the player's name.
- Click Report Player For:.
- Select the appropriate option.
- Enter a description of the situation.
- Click Send Report.
To report a player for spamming:
- Right-click the player's name.
- Click Report Spam.
- Click Accept.
Heroes of the Storm®
To report a player in Heroes of the Storm:
- In the postgame summary screen, select the Stats tab.
- Click the cogwheel for the player you want to report.
- Click Report Player.
- Select the appropriate option.
- Enter a description of the player's actions.
- Click Report Player.
Overwatch®
There are two ways to report a player in Overwatch:
From the chat window
- Right-click the player's name and select Report.
- Select the appropriate option.
- Enter a description of the player's actions.
- Click Send Report.
From the Social screen
- Press O or click Social to open the friends and recent players screen.
- Select Groups or Recent Players.
- Right-click the player and select Report.
- Select the appropriate option.
- Enter a description of the player's actions.
- Click Send Report.
StarCraft: Remastered
To report a player in StarCraft: Remastered:
- Right click on the player's name.
- Select Report User.
- Select the appropriate reason and click Ok.
Blizzard Battle.net desktop application
To report a player in the Blizzard desktop app:
- Right-click the Battletag (left-click if it's a pending friend request) and select Report.
- Select the appropriate reporting reason.
- Enter a description of the situation.
- Click Send Report.
Note: Check the box to automatically block and remove the reported player from your friends list.
Warcraft III: Reforged
To report a player for language or bad names:
- Open the chat window by clicking on the chat bar
- On the list of participants on the right, right-click on the character's name
- Select Report
- Select a Category (Language, BattleTag, Clan Name)
- Provide a description of the issue
- Click Report
You will not receive a response, but your report will be handled by the teams responsible.
Diablo II: Resurrected
To report a player in Diablo II: Resurrected:
- Right-click the player's name in chat.
- Click Report Player For:
- Select the most appropriate option.
- Click Accept.
Hearthstone
To report a player in Hearthstone:
- Right-click the player's name in chat or from the recently played list.
- Click Report Player For:
- Select the most appropriate option.
- Click Accept.
