Common Problems

  • Can I use a specific peripheral?
  • I want to report a player for using unapproved peripherals

Unapproved peripherals are devices that trick a console into thinking that mouse and keyboard inputs are coming from a controller in order to take advantage of aim assist while using peripherals that were never intended to benefit from this feature.

Starting with Season 11, players who are detected using an unapproved peripheral on console will be actioned in two phases. Upon first detection, a one-week Competitive restriction will be applied, while still allowing access to Quick Play. If the use of unapproved peripherals continues, the player will continue to be restricted from Competitive, and all Quick Play matches will be with other mouse and keyboard players for the duration of the season. Additionally, these players will no longer have access to the aim-assist feature.
