I can't create characters on the Russian realms.The Russian Language pack must be installed in order to play on Russian realms. There are two ways to install the Russian Language Pack.
- Open the game-client and log onto any one character
- Open the Options Navigate to "Languages" under "System"
- Click on the Dropdown-Menu and select "Русский"
- Exit the game-client and allow the Battle.net Desktop App to install the Russian Language Pack
- Restart the game-client
- Click on the Cogwheel next to the "Play" Button
- Select "Game Settings"
- Click on the Dropdown-Menu labelled "Text Language" and select "Русский"
- Confirm the Popup-Warning, then click "Done" in the Settings Menu.
- Allow the Battle.net Desktop App to install the Russian Language Pack
- Start the game-client
You may get disconnected the first time after changing the language, as the game will default to the European realms. If that happens, exit the game client and restart the game. This sholuld then connect you to the Russian realms.
Please note that while your game is set to Russian, you will only be able to access Russian realms, and characters created on Russian realms can only have Cyrillic letters in their names. If you no longer wish to play on the Russian realms, follow the same steps as above and select your preferred language.
