World of Warcraft: Companion App Lockups and Crash Errors
Common Problems
- When I open the WOW Companion App, it crashes or gives me an error.
- I receive "An error occurred while authenticating your account. If this persists, please contact Customer Service."
- I receive Error 74600104 when opening the WOW Companion App.
If you are having trouble opening the World of Warcraft Companion App on a mobile device, please try the following:
- Make sure you are running the most recent version of the mobile companion app
- Ensure your device firmware and operating system are fully up to date
- Close all other applications or restart the device
- Clear the application data and cache for the device
- Switch to a different region and then switch back
- Navigate to the WoW Companion app settings, press Clear Cache, then relaunch the app
- If connected to Wifi, try switching to your mobile phone data network instead or vice versa
- Try the troubleshooting steps for your specific device: Android, Apple, Amazon
- Uninstall and re-install the app
