StarCraft and Brood War content are free to download and do not require any DVD or activation code. This can be installed through the Battle.net desktop application.
A Blizzard account is required to log in. Once the application is logged in with your account, navgiate to the Starcraft game menu using the icons available. An install option will be available there.
