For specific instructions on retrieving game logs, select your operating system and the game for which you need error logs.

 

World of Warcraft

  1. Open the Battle.net desktop app and select World of Warcraft.
  2. Click the Cogwheel button to open the Options menu and select Show in Explorer.
  3. In the _retail_ or _classic_ folder inside the World of Warcraft folder, find the Errors folder.
    • If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
  4. Find the latest .txt file. This is your error report. The error report creation date is included in the file name.

Overwatch

  1. Open your Documents folder. This folder is typically accessed in the Start menu.
  2. Open the Overwatch folder.
  3. Open the Logs folder.
  4. Open the Errors folder.
    • If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
  5. Find the latest Overwatch.txt file. This is your error report.

Diablo III

  1. Open the Battle.net desktop app and select Diablo III.
  2. Click the Cogwheel button to open the Options menu and select Show in Explorer.
  3. Inside the Diablo III folder, open the InspectorReporter > Reported Bugs folder.
    • If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
  4. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside.
  5. Open the newest folder and find the D3Debug.txt file. This is your error report.

StarCraft II

  1. Open your Documents folder. This folder is typically accessed in the Start menu.
  2. Open the StarCraft II folder.
  3. Open the GameLogs folder. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will contain a crash log.
    • If there are no folders, you do not have any error reports.
  4. Open the newest folder and find the Error.txt file. This is your error report.

StarCraft Remastered

  1. Press Windows Key+R to open the Run dialogue.
  2. Type %localappdata%\Temp into the Run field and press Enter.
  3. Find the BlizzardError folder.
    • If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
  4. Upload the most recent .Txt file.

Hearthstone

  1. Open the Battle.net desktop app and select Hearthstone.
  2. Click the Cogwheel button to open the Options menu and select Show in Explorer.
  3. Inside the Hearthstone folder, find the Logs folder.
    • If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
  4. Find the latest hearthstone_yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss.log file. This is your error report.

Heroes of the Storm

  1. Open your Documents folder. This folder is typically accessed in the Start menu.
  2. Open the Heroes of the Storm folder.
  3. Open the GameLogs folder. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will contain a crash log.
    • If there are no folders, you do not have any error reports.
  4. Open the newest folder and find the Error.txt file. This is your error report.

Overwatch Voice Chat

  1. Open your Documents folder via the Start menu
  2. Open the Overwatch folder
  3. Open the Logs folder
  4. Locate Overwatch.log, this is your voice chat log

Diablo IV

  1. Open the Battle.net desktop app and select Diablo IV.
  2. Click the Cogwheel button to open the Options menu and select Show in Explorer.
  3. Inside the Diablo IV folder, Locate the FenrisDebug.txt file; this is the latest log file.
    • If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports. You may see older _FenrisDebug-1 or higher numbered logs; these are past logs. These logs are generated every time the game is ran.

Diablo II: Resurrected

  1. Open the Battle.net desktop app and select Diablo II: Resurrected.
  2. Click the Cogwheel button to open the Options menu and select Show in Explorer.
  3. Inside the Diablo II: Resurrected folder, locate the Blz-log.txt file; this is the latest log file.
    • NOTE: This file is regenerated every single time you run the game. Make sure the issue occurs then collect the file. 
 

World of Warcraft

  1. Navigate to Macintosh HD/Applications/World of Warcraft/.
  2. In the _retail_ or _classic_ folder inside of the World of Warcraft folder, find the Errors folder. If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
  3. Attach the most recent file.

Diablo III

  1. Navigate to /Applications/Diablo III/InspectorReporter/ReportedBugs.
  2. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside.
  3. Open the newest folder and locate the file marked D3Debug.txt. This is your error report.

Starcraft II

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Hold the Option (Alt) key and select Library from the Go menu on the system menu bar.
  3. Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/Starcraft II/Gamelogs.
  4. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside.
  5. Open the newest folder and locate the Error.txt file. This is your error report.

StarCraft Remastered
