Common Problems
- I want to change my country/region.
- I moved to a new country/region.
- I created my Battle.net account using the wrong country/region.
You can change the country/region on your Battle.net account by using our country change self-service. If you are unable to do so, submit a legible image of a recent utility bill or related document with your name and new address for manual review.
Your Battle.net Balance must be below the minimum to qualify for a country/region change. Battle.net Balance may reset to zero after changing country/region. Customer Support can't convert Battle.net Balance from one currency to another.
Accounts created outside of Korea cannot change their country to Korea later due to the National ID requirement. You will need to create a new Battle.net Account in that region.
Accounts created outside Mainland China cannot be changed to Mainland China. If you are a resident of Mainland China, please create a new Battle.net account in that region or contact local support in that region to recover an existing account. Support cannot transfer game accounts or game data between regions.
If you change your country/region while participating in a restricted alpha or beta test, you will lose your progress in the original region until Global Play is enabled for the game. You may also lose access to the game if we are not testing in your new region.
Note: Region in this context does not mean the region of your Battle.net or World of Warcraft account, but rather the region in which you physically reside.
