Stuck Character, Cannot Move

If your character is stuck somewhere in the world, please use the stuck character service to move your character to a safe location.

In-Game

World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft Progression realms

To access the stuck character service:

1. Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
2. Click Support.
3. Scroll down to the self-service options and click Stuck Character Service then click Continue.

You will be asked to select the character you want to move.

World of Warcraft Classic Era realms

To access the stuck character service:

1. Click on the ? icon to bring up the Game Menu
2. Click on Help
3. Click on Character Stuck!

You will have the option to Use Your Hearthstone (if not on cooldown) or Teleport to Graveyard.

I cannot log in

If you can't log in with the stuck character, click below to start the service from the website. This is a self-service —you will not receive a Game Master response.

Stuck Character Service

If the Stuck Character Service does not resolve your issue, try the following steps:

1. In the Blizzard Battle.net desktop application, click Options (the cogwheel next to Play button) and select Show in Explorer (Windows) or Reveal in Finder (Mac)
2. Open the World of Warcraft folder
3. Open the folder for the game version you're troubleshooting (_retail_, _classic_era_, or _classic_)
4. Delete or rename the Data and Cache folders to DataOld and CacheOld
5. Re-launch World of Warcraft

If you have tried everything above, but your character is still stuck in-game, please go through the stuck character service again with the same character. This should let you open a ticket, reporting that character as stuck for additional review.
