Common Problems

I need to change the language on the game so I can read it

You can select your game's text language before you install the game, or you can change your game's text language after it is installed with the following options.

 

Blizzard Services

  1. Log in to Battle.net Account Management.
  2. Click Account Details and scroll down to Communication Preferences.
  3. Click the Update button, and select your language of choice.
  4. Click Save.

Battle.net desktop app

  1. Open the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Blizzard icon in the upper-left corner and select Settings.
  3. Under the General tab, select your language of choice under App Language.
  4. Click Restart Now.

World of Warcraft

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the World of Warcraft game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text Language and Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

StarCraft Remastered

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the StarCraft Remastered game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text & Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

StarCraft II

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the StarCraft II game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text Language and Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

Diablo III

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Diablo III game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text & Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

Hearthstone

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Hearthstone game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text & Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

Heroes of the Storm

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Heroes of the Storm game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text Language and Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

Overwatch

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Overwatch game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text Language and Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

Console Version

The language can be changed using the console's system settings.

Diablo II

Once the Diablo II key is registered on your Battle.net account, the option to change the language is available prior to download.

Warcraft III

Once the Warcraft III key is registered on your Battle.net account, the option to change the language is available prior to download.

Diablo IV

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Diablo IV game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text Language and Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

Console Version

The language can be changed using the console's system settings.

Diablo Immortal

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Diablo Immortal game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text Language and Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.

Mobile Version

Click the globe icon on the title screen to change language options

Warcraft III: Reforged

  1. Log in to the Battle.net desktop app.
  2. Click the Warcraft III: Reforged game icon and select .
  3. Select Game Settings.
  4. Under Text Language and Spoken Language, select your language of choice.
  5. Click Done.
