We have added a new unit, the twilight archon, to the protoss section.
These swirling, burning effigies of the protoss spirit radiate incalculable power. Their devastating psionic storms can be unleashed against cowering enemy forces both in the air and on the ground. With the halves of the protoss race reunited, an archon can now be brought into being by the merge of two high templar, or two dark templar, or even the unification of a dark templar and a high templar.

Comin' straight outta Outland: Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain invades Southern California once again to perform at BlizzCon. Taking a break from their massive multi-world tour of Azeroth and Outland, Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain is gracing the mortals in Anaheim, California with another evening of power, majesty, and metal! The group's last non-Azerothian performance, the final show of the highly successful Storm, Earth, and Fire World Domination tour, took place at BlizzCon 2005, where they received a hero's welcome and even had the multi-platinum recording artists, The Offspring, close the show for them. Now, having leveled past their previous name -- Level 60 Elite Tauren Chieftain -- the crunching chords and pounding war drums of the newly dubbed Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain will once again be echoing throughout the Anaheim Convention Center's main arena at BlizzCon 2007. Exclusive to BlizzCon attendees, the concert will start at 7:30pm on Saturday, August 4, preceding the other live entertainment that evening. Get there early because seating will be first-come, first-pwned.

For those who can't wait to catch another glimpse of the band in action, we've just posted the new video for their hit song "I Am Murloc," as well as the .mp3 of the song for your listening pleasure. Prepare to be musically face-melted.

In July 2002, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos launched in multiple regions around the world and quickly became Blizzard's seventh #1 seller. Once the bulk of the reviews had been written, it was clear that Warcraft III had earned a spot as one of the highest rated PC games of all time, following in the footsteps of its seven-year-old predecessor in the series, 1995's Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness.

Combined with the Frozen Throne expansion set, Warcraft III remains a popular component of international competitive play, and thanks in large part to the efforts of an active mod community, there's a wide variety of new Warcraft III experiences to be had that go well beyond what comes in the box. We hope you'll take a few moments to check out our brief retrospective on Warcraft III and read through some of the reviews that were written about it back in 2002.

We have added a new unit, the protoss warp ray, to the protoss section.
The reunification of the Aiur protoss and the dark templar has been a time of great trials for both peoples. Overcoming the centuries of fear and mistrust that built up after the exile of the dark templar is no easy task. Nonetheless, the melding of technologies that developed along separate paths for so long has heralded spectacular new developments for the protoss.
